The photographic images found within the gallery pages are just a fraction of those available for licensing. The stock files for Doug Remien Photography consist largely of nature photography within the following categories:
Stock Photography Licensing--Rights Managed
These images are available for print and electronic use, as high resolution tiff or jpeg files. As per our licensing agreement, we offer images as "Rights Managed", and as such are granted for a specific usage and/or time period. The word "Rights", refers to the fact that these images are subject to the protection of copyright laws. The use of stock photography, or more specifically, the transfer of a usage license, typically involves the payment of a use fee and a photographer’s credit line. These are not royalty free images.
The price for each image license is based largely on its intended use. License fees for one-time, exclusive, or unlimited use vary greatly depending on the specific type of use, i.e. commercial advertising, corporate, editorial, paper products or internet. Other factors include circulation, image file size, and area of geographic distribution. Based on your criteria, the price is calculated within the shopping cart utilizing "FotoQuote" licensing software.
